I need to remove the skynet virus. Every time I hit a computer key, practically, a box shows up stating that teh following is not a legitimate program: globalroot\system32\SKYNETbqekuypi.dll
My computer is a Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop running Windows Vista.
Thanks very much.

Have you tried running anti-spyware scan?

To david:
what the skynet virus has probably done is rerouted your operating system to run through this SNYNETbqekuypi.dll. It wouldn’t be smart to find and delete the file, as it may be an actual corrupt and renamed system file. if you have a virus detection program, use it and see if it can be removed that way.
If all else fails, try deleting this file to see if that will fix the problem (though most likely it’s a self-replicating file)
