I have a computer infected with ‘Total Security’ … can’t get to safe mode, can’t get to task manager, can’t run regedit, etc. Can somehow run IE, that’s about it …
Can’t … is the only word I have right now. And I’m good at this.

For anyone of you that has been able to remove it could you please help me? I am still new at the whole computer age (I am older) the above steps seem like a foriegn language to me. I understand when you all say its driving you crazy. I called the Geek Squad but from what I could gather I was going to be on the phone for a while at $2.99 per minute, I cannot afford that. If there is anyone out there let me know, maybe I could call you and you could walk me through it? I make a mean batch of cookies I would be more than happy to send off for my grattitude~~Thanks~~~~

This is how i did it
1. Start task manager then end the task.
2. Find the program in the “program Files” section.

ok, in vista start task manager (control-alt-del) look for tsc.exe. open control panel program files, uninstall. Highlight TSC program by clicking JUST once. Place task manager and uninstall programs window side by side. Right mouse click stop processing in task manager on the tsc.exe.
Here you have to be fast. Click end process and immediately click uninstall tsc in the program uninstall window.

Hello world. Total Security takes over my PC, but none of the TSC elements show up in my searches. I can’t use the internet. McAfee won’t execute. Malwarebyte starts but terminates after a few seconds. SpyDoctor can execute because it needs an Internet connection to download something. Anybody have any suggestions? Can we sue these vendors?

Run Spyware Doctor in a safe mode, this way Total Security Protection Center shouldn’t be able to block it.

I signed up for Total Security $59.95 because I could not access the internet. I thought my computer had severe viruses. Then I researched Google I saw the hits from people that this company was a fraud. I am on a fixed income and regardless, I don’t like to be scammed. I have not activated the system yet. Can you help me? Diana Reagan

TotalSecurity said I have 42 unsafe files, and my computer has a virus. When I tried to get online, I was told I have no connection. I’m on a library computer trying to get info. How can I get rid of this program without being able to get online? Help!! I’m in grad school and need my Internet for research.
