[...] WinBlueSoft is typical fraud; it offers paid security tool which is totally non-functional. WinBlue Soft is almost identical copy of another malware named WiniBlueSoft (click here to remove WiniBlueSoft). [...]

Hi , fixed my laptop yesterday only.

This virus wont letting me open taskmanager or any other program using which i can kill it.
It was even not allowing to open regedit.

I did following:-
Made one bootable CD , you can even use bootable floppy disk.

Some how i managed to find that this virus uses blocker.dll to stop all the crucial programs.

so run your bootable CD, select the recovery mode.

go into directory using command prompt
and type
C:\Windows\System32\del blocker.dll
this will delete that dll now you reboot your machine after taking out the CD and you willbe able to open taskmanager now kill setup2.exe and also remove it from registry and C:\WIndows\System32\

there will be multiple copies of this exe may present in your machine, you need to lookin into registry , in my case i found it in C:\Windows\Temp by temp_0229900.exe name. remove such file as well.

Good luck.

To boot in the Safe mode, restart your computer and as soon as it starts to boot up start pressing the F8 key. You'll see a list of options to start a PC in a safe mode or in a normal mode. Choose the safe mode and then use the removal. Once you're done with that, restart your computer and click F8 but this time choose normal mode.

I do not know what a safe mode is. How do I remove it in safe mode? Could you give some more instructions? Thanks.

I also made the mistake of uninstalling it. It leaves behind the faux application. Remove it in safe mode or use the description i left before if you can't.

Have you tried removing WiniBlueSoft in a safe mode? It is usually more effective.

I am in the same situation. I deleted Winibluesoft on the Add/Remove program through My Computer and now I AM SCREWED as Bret says. What happens when we do that is that Winibluesoft becomes UNDELETABLE. It cannot be tracked using any software - I've tried, McAfee, Spyware Doctor, avast! and other various programmes BUT IT IS UNDETECTABLE WHICH MEANS I CANNOT FIND IT USING ANYTHING AND CAN'T BE DELETED. I am freaking out. My computer started to beep really loudly. I've tried searching for it as well - Start - Search and tried to manually remove everything. Result? They do not exist. But hey! I still get these warning messages and everything. I am crying my eyes out - I've been dealing with this for hours now and this is my only computer/laptop. It is essential to me and I am just... SCREWED.

Could you please provide us with more details about your situation? Is Winibluesoft gone? If it's not, I recommend using manual removal guide.

I accidentally removed Winibluesoft on the Add/Remove Program, not Spyware Doctor or any other similar program. Now I'm screwed.

Opened "currently running programs" in windows defender through control panels "Change startup programs." They run the system "MicrosoftR WindowsR" somthing or other. The R is prevalent. It shows you the source application in system32 is autorun(2), or it did in mine. Is has the windows defender shield as an icon. Shield with the four windows colors...

Open system32, it shows you the route to take, and have both windows open. End the MicrosoftR in the window, not by the task manager, but the end process button. This done you can compress the application through the advanced properties (right-click), then delete it. It is locked by your computer before this.

Ending the process stops it from annoying you, compressing and deleting gets rid of its program.

Thank you greatly for the advice, I got it an hour later though.

Try booting a computer in a safe mode and following the manual removal guide. I also recommend running anti-spyware scan in a safe mode.
