Windows Vista Repair description
Windows Vista Repair is a rogue anti-spyware program which comes to the system with the help of trojan. As other rogue anti-spyware programs Windows Vista Repair installs itself automatically without user’s knowledge. It is also a copy of Windows Vista Recovery, Windows Vista Restore.
Once installed it will perform quick system scan and display false system security warnings and then will prompt you to buy a “full” version of this program to remove threats that don’t even exist:
Hard Drive Failure
The system has detected a problem with one or more installed IDE / SATA hard disks. It is recommended that you restart the system.
Critical Error
Hard drive critical error. Run a system diagnostic utility to check your hard disk drive for errors. Windows can’t find hard disk space. Hard drive error.
Malware tires to trick user into believing their computer is infected and must be healed with its “licensed” version. Do not fall for this scam but use malware remover to terminate Windows Vista Repair indefinitely. Make sure you delete it and all its affiliated components.

Thank you! It looked suspicious with the ‘get full version.’ I don’t think Microsoft would do that for a program that came with the computer. I just have no idea where I got WVR…
