    Just thought I’d drop a line here as I searched for hours looking for a cure to this to find the only way to completely remove this is to purchase spyware. Despite being told many of them were free to try, whilst they did pick up the problematic .exe and .dll files, I was unable to remove them until I ‘purchased the full version’. In the end I got round it by clicking run under the start menu, running ‘msconfig’, going to the startup tab and deselecting the ‘winav.exe’ command. So far I havent had any further issues, albeit still pretty soon to count any further problems out, but I see it as a hell of a lot better than paying forty-odd pounds for something I’ll hardly ever use and, to be honest, what my glorified piece of crap norton 360 should be picking up anyway. Almost makes you think it could be the anti-virus companies creating these bastards just to have us buy their products…
