My friend has gotten the win 7 home securiety 2012 trojan on his computer, and even though I can access google, I am unable to open any of the download removal tools for this problem. Is there a possibility I can download it to my computer, burn the downloaded program and then run it on his computer. Or is the only way to do this is manually? Please respond as soon as possible.
Thanks!

um if you havent tried doing it in safe mode hold f8 as it boots up and click “safe mode with networking” and you can go online for a short period of time before the virus kicks back up

Win 7 Home Security 2012 found its way into my comp, and it shut me down. I couldn’t use the internet at all, or any programs. I used this guide and the virus was not under any of the file or registry names listed. I used the reg key (awesome), got some accessibilty, and finally nailed it down to CRD.exe. That was the Win 7 Security on my cp. Also, it was blocking and hiding files and folders that led to it. That reg key saved my day!
