thanks, you help me a lot. it was confusing at first because the virus was using different 3 letters on the file, like in my case it was ufn.exe and not kde.exe. But i checked the date and time on the file so I know I was deleting the right files. Big thanks

You can print the removal guidelines using another computer and then simply follow the printed tutorial to delete Vista security 2012. You can also trick this fraud by downloading removal tool installation file on another computer and then copying the remover to infected machine via thumb drive.

This was very helpful though the registry entries and files were not named the same. I could tell by the ending code and dates that those were the ones i needed to trash. E.G. Yours:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.exe\shell\open\command “(Default)” = ‘”%LocalAppData%\kdn.exe” -a “%1″ %*’
Mine:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.exe\shell\open\command “(Default)” = ‘”%LocalAppData%\COMMAND.exe” -a “%1″ %*’
Or something along those lines.
For the files i just deleted the ones that appeared around the same time as Vista Security. Thanks very much for this.

Spyware Doctor is not able to block web access and nor is it able to prevent you from accessing Control Panel. Malware on the other hand can do all the things you’ve described. Have you tried running Spyware Doctor in a safe mode? This should work smoothly to delete Vista Security 2012.
