Svich description
Svich is dangerous and annoying computer worm. The main way of infection is deceptive messages delivered via Yahoo! Instant messenger. Svich hijacks the instant messenger and then spams each contact with annoying chats asking to click links. If any of the contacts visit websites offered this way, they get Svich worm automatically. The malware is quite convincing as it sends the messages in the name of a victim so the fraudulent links look genuine. Avoid clicking suspicious links even if they seem to be sent by your friends!
Taking over Yahoo messenger is not the only function of Svich worm. It secretly downloads and installs other malware. Svich is able to block the Task Manager and edit Windows Registry. It also spreads by creating a copy of itself on every drive it locates, including USB keys.
