For starters you can download removal tools on another computer (i.e. at you friend’s) and then copy the program to the infected machine. Then, if the new security program gets blocked as well, boot your computer into safe mode.

I just did it. You have to have quick reflexes. When you first boot up your computer, don’t let everything finish loading. As SOON as you see your background, hit control/alt/delete and go to processes. When you see the “defender.exe” pop up, click it then click “end process”. It should stop “Spyware Protection” from popping up. Then you can fix your registry as mentioned above.

To avoid the issue of needing “quick reflexes” just boot your computer in safe mode.

When in Safe mode, SD initially says “was previously disabled. Re-enable?”. OK, then “Scanning in Safe mode is not recommended”, and it won’t run. Won’t run in normal mode either; the SP program won’t let it open.
