Smart Virus Eliminator description
Smart Virus Eliminator is another fake security tool. It’s presented by the same “company” that made Windows System Suite, Windows Security Suite and Windows Protection Suite.
User interface of Smart VirusEliminator is an insolent copy of Windows Defender. SmartVirusEliminator requires paying either $49.95 or $69.95 or $89.95 for using the program although it messes a computer up instead of fixing security problems.
SmartVirus Eliminator mimics computer scan and offers deleting viruses after user buys the full version. The paid version is the same non-functional app distributed by trojans and fraudulent websites. And the infections reported by Smart Virus Eliminator are nothing more but made-up problems dedicated to trick people into giving their money away.
The real functions of Smart VirusEliminator are totally different: it slows PC performance; it hijacks web browser and it loads large amounts of annoying pop-ups.

I got the Smart Virus Eliminator, so then I downloaded Spyware Doctor, paid my fee and followed all the instructions, and I still have Smart Virus Eliminator. I contacted PCTools (Maker of Spyware Doctor) technical support and they tell me they NEVER heard of Smart Virus Eliminator. They told me to run a scan again, then send them some log. Still waiting to hear back from them. Not a happy day.
