How to remove RegTool

RegTool description
RegTool is a clone of ErrorEasy, ErrorRepair Tool and RegFix Pro. The design of all the four programs is almost identical; you can‘t even tell the difference just by taking a short glance at each of the tools. Reg Tool works in a similar way like its „relatives“. It offers optimizing system performance, deleting suspicious files and fixing registry errors for a certain fee. RegTool is able to perform none of these tasks.

Although RegTool presents itself as registry repair + system optimization app, it is not a useful piece of software. Reg Tool is usually distributed by trojans and other malwares. Not only it doesn‘t have any useful features, but it also is a computer parasite. Do not pay for RegTool.
RegTool delivers numerous pop-ups that are meant to scare people into paying for keeping the program. Don‘t trust a single error report loaded by Reg Tool; they are all falsified.
RegTool is a Rogue Antispyware software

although i agree with your statements on regtool, you can remove it via add/remove programs in the windows control panel interface. it does unregister any .dll’s properly as i installed it and checked for changes.
it said my laptop had 9,000 errors and over 900 of which were proven false off the bat – errors in the my recent documents folder which is empty.
i downloaded the program from hxxp://regtool.com

We do not distribute RegTool and we are not associated with the creators of this software. You can delete Reg Tool using removal guide above. You should contact manufacturers or distributors of this fraud regarding to refund. I must say that getting a refund might be difficult since RegTool is a scam and a computer parasite.

Joe,
I would uninstall the software from add/remove programs.
I would call your bank/credit card company and report the charge as fraud. Many institutions provide a guarantee against online transactions.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
We do not distribute RegTool or other malwares. This website is dedicated to removing infections and Reg Tool is one of them. Contact your bank; they might be able to cancel your payment. Since the makers and the distributors of Reg Tool are scammers I’m afraid they won’t give you your money back.

luciana is correct.

I ordered this scam on 5/27, immediately bogged down my system. I notified Regtool within 7 days I was dissatisfied and wanted a refund. Sent about 4 emails, they always emailed back to re-install the product. But no mention of my refund. Finally sent an email threatening to tell the Better Business Bureau and Deny the charge to the CC company. Also forwarded a copy of my final Demand for Refund to PayPal. That FINALLY got me a response. Received a promise to refund my money 6/18.

Eurgh. I got the free edition through an incorrectly titled torrent. I knew exactly what was going on when it decided to automatically install, had no direct way of uninstalling it, no option on the Start > All Programs folder, then re-appeared on start-up despite me using the control panel to get rid of it. Evil.
Thanks for the guide on how to remove it correctly. I can’t believe that people are genuinely asking for a refund here. Well, if they were silly enough to pay for it in the first place…

I was just wondering…I accidentally downloaded this software thinking it was legitimate. I didn’t pay or anything like that. The second I realized it was a virus I immediately uninstalled it from add/remove programs. Does this mean it is gone from my system?
Please respond quickly

On what source of information do you base your allegations? I downloaded it last night and it has done everything (so far) that I’ve executed. R u sure that this software is a scam? Please explain how I can prove it to myself because, thus far, it seems to be a fairly good product. My computer’s speed has doubled. And while I could never get VISTA to do a basic f****** defrag, RegTool did it in a reasonable amount of time.
In the event I have to remove it from my system, can you recommend a good registry cleaner that has similar tools?

I purchased the basic RegTool a few weeks ago. I was a bit concerned in loading this type of software so I backed up my system first. However, I’m like Michael, I had no problem loading or running the software, and it definitely did improve my computer’s performance. I have XP Pro and Norton 360 … and expected one or both to cause some problems, but they didn’t. RegTool cleaned out a truck load of ActiveX items and junk files, and then suggested I run a defrag. I’ve tested the software several times, first running ‘360, then RegTool, and next time running RegTool and then ‘360. Personally, I’m more disappointed in the steady disentigration of Norton. They use to be a pretty good anti-virus software, but they really suck now. Guess they’ve replaced all their people with undocumented workers.

I bought RegTool. It is terrible. I got scammed. Everything worse now. May God curse those responsible.

I just got a reply from Reg Tool Support after my complaint:
We also have a highly skilled team of researchers who run a battery of
tests before ever releasing an application Therefor, in those cases
where we are detected by a third party program, we contact the company
who makes the program and have them add us to their list of approved
applications.
We’re sorry for any confusion this may have caused. Rest assured, we are
an honest hard working company that strives to provide you with the best
and most up-to-date registry cleaner available on the market.
To help us resolve the problem, please notifiy us as to what the other
program is claiming us to be. We will take it from there and contact
them, letting them know of their grievous mistake.
Is this the case of the egg and the chicken? Who is telling the truth?

According to regtool.com/buy1 they offer a 8 week money back guarantee.
Is my purchase guaranteed?
A: Yes! All orders are backed by our unconditional 8 week money-back guarantee. If you are unhappy with your purchase, for any reason, simply contact us via e-mail within 8 weeks for a full refund.
I would uninstall the program and request a refund. If you don’t hear from regtool billing in 48 hours I would contact your credit card company online fraud department.

Spyware removers might be not so helpful because malware like RegTool can block security programs. Try to run your anti-spyware in a safe mode. I strongly recommend deleting the infection manually; this way Reg Tool can’t block you.

This website doesn’t distribute RegTool and it’s not related to that malware in any way. Spywarevoid.com is here to help people to delete infections like Reg Tool. I hope your bank is able to handle the issue. If the parasite is still on your computer, feel free to use the manual removal guide posted above the comments section.
