PC Defender description
PC Defender is a rogue anti-spyware application. It is a new variant of earlier PC Defender 2008 fraud.
PC Defender usually appears on a computer without permission of the user. It is installed secretly by trojans. PCDefender is designed to look like a security tool, but the functions and intents of the program are fraudulent. It generates counterfeit security reports and warns people about numerous infections. All the threats “detected” by PC Defender are made-up. The notifications are meant to scare people into buying the fraudulent program. Avoid PCDefender at all costs.

Careful telling people to unregister a dll. Doing so actually loads the dll and executes a built-in function. That function could easily be mis-used to do something else in order to protect the program (or worse!). A safer method would be to have people use the regedit commandline to delete the key; unfortunately, I don’t have the syntax handy nor do I know the CLSID used by hook.dll or I’d post it myself.
Otherwise, great work!
