Well, that’s why they are called rogue programs. They are installed secretly by trojans without your permission. Whatever you decide to do, do not pay for a fake program like PC Confidential. I strongly recommend running a real malware remover to deal with this threat.

I for some reason had PC Confidential on my computer and Ican’t unistall it….I did not install it and I don’t wantor need it!

“Registering” PC Confidential won’t work, because it’s not a real program and there is no real company behind it. Paying for the fake program also won’t help you at all. You have to delete the fraud from your computer if you want those pop-ups and request disappear. Please, use the manual removal guidelines given on this article.

this software contains walware, damages XP systems and is very damaging to PC sopftware programes associated with it . THe internet explorer was also fail to quit.

I had to pay a engineer lots of money to restart our services. I did not even purchase this software. Its was downloaded through another sites pop up.

I went through the steps as advised on this site. Only thing left showing is the shredder icon but it no longer looks like a shredder, a kind of MS Dos graphic now.

This program is hidden under Winferno. Do a search for this file then use the uninstall folder, then make sure to delete every entries in the registry (look for PC Confidential)by using a program like RegSeeker. This is what I have done and it worked… NO MORE PC CONFIDENTIAL AND SHREDDER ICON GONE!!!
