I have found another hidden file which seems to be realated called REEUQUN.EXE, this is in the documents and settings folder for the username concerned. I had to go into the machine via safe mode command prompt and run attrib -s -h -r to make the two files (REEUQUN.EXE & REEUQUN.SCR) visible and then delete them.

I couldn't find anything about these above files on the web.

This is a very pervasive program and the list of things I have removed is extensive, and it is still killing AVG and Malwarebytes. I have just noticed another little trick too, it seems to block access to malware removal sites, though it could just be that the machine I am working on does in fact have multiple infections.

I have this Virus too. It's such a headache!

Mine is behaving strangely though, it's not in the Add/Remove list, i can't find it in my Program Files or in the registry. I can't find its processes with task manager. Despite all these it still keeps throwing alerts.

Could there be some other place it might be hidding or has it changed its names?

Yes, Paladin Antivirus blocks security programs, but you can use the manual removal guide to delete this malware.

Tahnks for you suggestion. I'm not very experienced on viruses but when I try to run any antivirus removal tool the system is not working. Somehow the programs get blocked by Paladin Antivirus and I cannot remove it. Could you please help me on how to remove it? Thank you and ciao, Luciano
