Software distributed on freeze.com installs adware and unwanted browser plugins such as OneStep Search. These tactics are fraudulent and people should know what to expect before downloading applications.

There is NOTHING malicious in anything we distribute through freeze.com or any of our other sites. We allow users to access many quality apps at no cost. For example, 3D screensavers cost $15,000 plus to create and a user can access them for FREE with the OPTION of supporting various other Windows applications.

Adware and malicious browser plugins are computer parasites. The infections are bundled with products downloaded from freeze.com. You can call it cooperation, distribution or doing business if ‘promotion’ is too strong word.

Freeze.com does NOT promote OneStep Search. All the software offered through InstallIQ goes through a rigid QA process and can be easily removed through Add or Remove Programs in your control panel.
