    I am being held hostage by a “screaming” message telling me what I need to do to resolve my issues with my computer. Guess what? I have to buy something. This is the most blatent form of fraud and blackmail I have ever experienced.

    Help, I’v been at this for hours. I have tried the recommend up top but can”t get past the first stage and tried downloading the spydr. but it wont work, tried avg but wont work. What else is there???

    Spyware removal tools are not necessary for deleting My Security Engine. I strongly recommend going through the manual removal once again. You can skip the first step.

    I don’t know if this will be of any help to all of you.

    But I had a friend of mine asked me for help in getting rid of this program and I discovered this free anti-spyware program managed to remove “my security engine”.
    It seems to have wokred for him and if this is the case it maybe worth your while in trying it yourselves.
