2 + 3. Boot your computer in a safe mode. The malware shouldn&#039;t prevent the removal then.

Do not delete files just because they look suspicious for you. They might be necessary for your computer to run properly. I also recommend running antispyware scan in a safe mode. it should be more effective.</description>

		<description>I was unable to remove Malware Doctor because of the following reasons : 

1. Not able to find the folder Malware Doctor in C:\Program Files (even after making hidden files visible).
2. Not able to launch the task manager.
3. Not able to launch the Registry Editor

Observation : I find that an exe file is created in the folder : C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Application Data
This .exe file is self replicating and has a name that is a combination of numbers.
I suspect this file to be the Malware Doctor&#039;s execution file.
I am not able to delete it.
I tried restarting the system in safe mode and deleting the file but on restarting windows in normal mode, the file returns.
