I was unable to remove Malware Doctor because of the following reasons :
1. Not able to find the folder Malware Doctor in C:\Program Files (even after making hidden files visible).
2. Not able to launch the task manager.
3. Not able to launch the Registry Editor
Observation : I find that an exe file is created in the folder : C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Application Data
This .exe file is self replicating and has a name that is a combination of numbers.
I suspect this file to be the Malware Doctor’s execution file.
I am not able to delete it.
I tried restarting the system in safe mode and deleting the file but on restarting windows in normal mode, the file returns.
Spyware Doctor too was unable to remove Malware Doctor

1. The missing folder might be created on other directory. Try running a search on your PC.
2 + 3. Boot your computer in a safe mode. The malware shouldn’t prevent the removal then.
Do not delete files just because they look suspicious for you. They might be necessary for your computer to run properly. I also recommend running antispyware scan in a safe mode. it should be more effective.
