First off, I am at best a moderate comp guy.
I got slammed last night by this program and am now unable to access anything internet (I’m on a different computer now). How do I access and download the removal tool if I cannot get to the internet on that computer? Wjll I be safe in safe mode?
Would you recommend doing the manual removal, if all goes well, then doing the removal tool advertised below?
A friend of mine recommended reformatting my hard drive then switching from XP sp3, to Windows7 (W7) immediately. I didn’t like all Vista had to “offer” so I stayed away and am hesitant of W7. Recommendations (Yay/Nay)?
Thank you for your help.

Last night I attempted to find/delete all the files as instructed above and was unsuccessful as NONE of them matched, in any way what-so-ever. I could not even find close matches to your instructions…
Any further guidance?

KlKlud,
I had to take my system to a buddy who’s a bit more savvy than I am and he seemingly got it removed by docking it and going in backdoor. It removed it, I think but there are still some issues. 1. I lost all my emails/email addresses (luckily I have most of the email addresses saved elsewhere). 2. My system is acting up and not very stable. I am going to wipe my drive and load Windows 7 (I have XP, SP3) with the understanding of starting over. Time will tell.
