Antivirus Pro 2010 description

Antivirus Pro 2010 is another application to avoid. It’s misleading and it dangerous for a computer.

AntivirusPro2010

Anti virus Pro 2010 presents itself as a security tool which is far from the truth. The program is not capable of scanning a PC or deleting infections. Antivirus Pro2010 itself is a malware. It’s installed secretly by trojans. It also spreads via malicious and fraudulent websites. AntivirusPro2010 reports numerous threats and inquires purchasing the tool for deleting them. Unfortunately, that’s a trick: system scan is falsified and the reported threats are imaginary. AntivirusPro 2010 supposedly locates the same infections on every computer even if the machine is completely clean. Do not trust Antivirus Pro 2010 and keep your money for something more useful.

Anti virus Pro 2010 loads large amounts of annoying alerts such as the following:

Hi, I downloaded the antivirus removal tool, but the antivirus does not let me register and pay (or to get your return email). What should I do?

Use the manual removal guide to delete AntivirusPro 2010. However, I recommend installing anti-spyware tools after the malware is gone, so you can prevent future infections like that.

Hi, I’ve been having this spyware issue too. I’ll be trying your tips. However, going to add/delete programs does nothing- it only delete the program from appearing on the list but Antivirus is still there.
Anyway, do you know which sites wind up giving you this virus? Because I have been careful on the internet lately but I’m not sure what happened. Also, does it continue to run after you have turned off your computer?

These website distribute Antivirus Pro 2010 for sure, but there are others as well. The malware is not active when a computer is turned off.

Hi. I need help. I’m trying to install the spyware remover, but it’s not working. After it’s downloaded (like the saving setup part) it dissapears and the antiviruspro pops up.

I’ve tried downloading the setup on a cd and working it from there, but it doesn’t work either.

And the uinstall antivirus tool doesn’t work either.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

Boot your computer in a safe mode and you should be able to run anti-spyware.

The code to remove the .dll files isn’t working for me. It says ‘”regsvr32 /u filename.dll” is not recognized as an internal or external command operable program or batch file”‘ (I plugged the correct DLLs in the place of ‘filename’) What have I typed incorrectly?

I am also having a problem with Antivirus Pro 2010, The lower tool bar is gone so there is no “Start” button, nor am I able to access the internet at all. It won’t let me in the task manager either. What now?

    Luciana Reply:

You should be able to access all those things in a safe mode. Reboot your computer and keep clicking F8 button while the PC is still booting up. You’ll see an option to get into safe mode.

I have done that and it won’t let me start the computer in safe mode.

This seems hopeless nothing will start on my computer the damn antivirus pro 2010 won’t let anything start even in safe mode. Without the ability to use task manager or search for the antivirus files what can I do? The internet won’t work either so I am on a different computer.

It looks like I’ve been hit with the same thing – Antivirus Pro 2010. Based on some other websites recommendations, I’ve downloaded Malwarebytes’ Anti-malware and run it, and at first it seemed to work. Everything ran fine on my computer, albeit a little slower. Then, slowly but surely things started not to work again. It got to the point where I would double-click on the Windows Explorer icon and nothing would happen.

I’m currently in safe-mode and now I’ve downloaded Spyware Doctor. It seems to have found some infected files, but it looks like I have to pay $29.99 to have it remove them. Do I have to do this? Is Spyware Doctor a good program for getting rid of this crappy virus? Ugh…I’m experiencing similar frustration as others. Any and all info is greatly appreciated.

My wife’s laptop got this. I ran spybot to try and remove it but now it goes to the window boot up screen and when you login nothing shows up on the desktop and it logs you out. Same thing with our without safe mode.
Right before this happened it had all the messages and also a big black with red letters box on the destop that said your computer is infected.

Any ideas how I can fix this?
