Admess.Trojan description

If your screen is occupied by pop-ups telling you to remove Admess.Trojan, you shouldn’t worry about the trojan. Admess.Trojan is only reported by fake security programs like System Security. It supposedly detects threats in order to intimidate people into buying a full version of the tool. SystemSecurity is not worth a dime since it’s fraudulent and it doesn’t work properly.

Pop-ups related to Admess.Trojan and Zserv.Transponder.Trojan are gone once SystemSecurity is removed.

Follow this link to delete System Security.

I encountered Windows Security Alert which listed message “Detected Spyware and adware on your computer” Three names were given and part of a fourth name which I tried to scroll down to see but was unable to do so. This suggested to me that the message might be bogus. The three names I was able to view were 1) admess.trojan, 2) Zserv.Transponder.trojan, 3) Wstart.TrojanDownloader. Each time I clicked on same one of them I received the “File Download – Security Warning” and a Name such as “Install-90_ca_02018-1.exe but the install name was different each time I clicked. This observation prompted me to search the internet where I found this site. Thanks for providing the information. I will ignore this in future. It cost me over an hour of my time dealing with this. Is there any action that can be taken to deal with the perpetrator? Thanks.

Glen, The thing that sucks is computer viruses are barely enforced. unless on twitter or facebook. Soon if it finds its way to a big company the perpetrator will die.

How do you remove the pop up? My virus protection doesn’t detect it?

You need anti-spyware to delete this. Anti-virus is for deleting different things.

Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this information! The same thing happened to me (with the same file names) and thank you to both of you, I did not fall for the scam either!

Thanks. I’ve been doing regular scans and updates as I’ve had some computer problems and programs freezing and not responding and such. Then I get this and was really upset and was close to following through but I couldn’t view the other files either. Then it said is was Windows Security Alert and then I remembered getting emails from bank that used their logo and all. Nodays, anyone can duplicate the logos and colors and official looking stuff so then I became skeptical of following through.
I went to another site when searching the last item which gave removal instructions but wasn’t sure to use them either.
Now I’m not sure what to do at this point. What is effecient programs to use and be confident your computer is safe?

Keep in mind that you need both anti-spyware and anti-virus to keep a PC fully protected. When choosing the tools, make sure they don’t interrupt each others functions. Also, make sure they have real-time protection.

Thank you. Thank you. Scared me to death since I do not understand a lot of technical language. This information was so easy to read and understand. Now I am going to try to get rid of this problem using the information you provided. Hope it does the job. Will let you know if it doesn’t.

I am also going to educate myself and read the rest of your tutorials re: malicious domains and other bullets. I have McAfee protection.

Well that was a waste. The download took me to PCtools.com. It scanned my PC than told me my computer was infected and they would clean it for 29.95 for 12 months service. Is this a legitimate site or is it a scam also?

Spyware Doctor is a legitimate anti-spyware. However, you can delete malware from your computer using manual removal instructions posted on this website.

My laptop has been hit by this twice this week in Farmtown on Facebook with Kaspersky Internet Suite running on my computer. A friend’s computer was hit Thurs. I am glad to find this posting. What I’m not sure about is this–I did a complete computer scan after that and in reports section of my security system, it listed this under the Trojans category and it also listed in a separate category a virus which it listed as very dangerous. The “disinfect all” option would not light up–only option I have is to Quarantine. Problem is I don’t know if Kaspersky has already taken action when it encountered these while I was in Farmtown or if I need to do something. How would I know and if I need to take action, what should I do? Thanks so much!

Run anti-spyware as soon as possible. I recommend Spyware Doctor, you can download it right here.

I don’t even know what I did to get the same pop-up window alerting me to a terrible virus attacking my poor defenseless computer.
Being the skeptical person that I am, I googled admess.trojan and came upon this site.

I knew in my gut the whole WARNING WARNING alert was bogus but this thread just confirmed my suspicion.
    Thanks

I’m thankful that I landed on this forum. Just today I experienced this problem! I was really shocked and worried! I was wondering how come I was attacked by those 32 malwares where infact everyday my antivirus is up-to-date. It popped up then automatic computer scan then the 39 malwares popped up. A lot of pop ups actually. Then WINDOWS SECURITY ALERT came in which prompted me to think twice about this. At a glance, I clicked on the REMOVE ALL MALWARES button immediately. Too bad that I clicked it then this “Inst_283s1.exe” binary file automatically was saved in my desktop. I searched for this via internet, and it was reported as FRAUDULENT program. I searched also for the 1st malware which was like “admess.trojan” then landed on this page! Immediately, I closed all the pop ups and I deleted the .exe file that was stored in my desktop – am I safe here now? Thank you

I went to “very reputable sites” for my online shopping today, & at one of them this ‘malware’ notice popped up immediately. Having had these in the past, I took the first trojan name & googled it, leading me to this site. I haven’t been here before, but I will be returning to keep up w/ the notices from other users. Thank you to the people at ‘Spywarevoid.’
